Our organic Wheat leaf grass (Triticum aestivum) is grown and harvested outdoors on New Zealand's Canterbury Plains. It grows in full sunshine and takes up the minerals and goodness of pure and unpolluted soil. The young plants are harvested at an early stage (usually at 25-35cm), to preserve the optimum levels of vitamins, minerals and natural chlorophyll and before the formation of any seed head. The result is a rich, green, highly nutritious wheatgrass full of vitamins, dietary fibre and minerals.
With similar nutritional qualities to our organic Barley Leaf Grass, Wheat Leaf Grass has an additional benefit in that it contains a glycoprotein, P4D1, which acts in a similar way to antioxidants and may reduce inflammation.
28 grams being equivalent to 900 grams of green leafy vegetables.
High in chlorophyll
Chlorophyll has been used for constipation, "detoxification" and wound healing.

As food is the main category of product that Food Plus offers we are unable to supply goods for export. All transactions are expressed in New Zealand dollars only.
Shipping Rates
We offer a flat rate shipping cost to New Zealand Addresses:

$9.95 Rural
Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have an opportunity to cancel your order if you decide not to proceed. No other charges apply to your order.
Turnaround
All orders are shipped using a courier service and within 48 hours Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Under exceptional circumstances beyond our control this policy may be extended to more than 48 hours.
Order Tracking
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

How to return a Food Plus item
Your Food Plus item must be in its original unused condition to be returned unless there is a product defect. You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.
- Please email info@foodplus.co.nz with the details and to request a refund and we will assign you a tracking number.
- Mail your returned item to:

- Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original email receipt.
Restocking Fee
All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
Exchanges
If your Food Plus item is unopened and in like-new condition, you may exchange your item for an alternative item. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay for return shipping.
Defective Product
It is our policy that should any purchase from Food Plus prove to be defective we will replace or refund the purchase price at no cost to the customer. In such circumstances please e-mail us in the first instance at
explaining your concern and we will contact you to arrange a refund or replacement.
